Leflore County Board of Supervisors

The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board presented an award to Miss Brandice Brown, daughter of Troy and Curressia Brown, who recently won a national oration award at the 84th National Oratorical Contest of the Grand Lodge of Elks, and $10,000 in scholarship money. Miss Brown reprised her speech for the Supervisors.
