The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board appointed former fire chief Larry Griggs to take Walter Parker's position on the Greenwood-Leflore County Hospital Board of Trustees. Messrs. Collins and Wolfe voted for the appointment, and Mr. Moore voted against it. A proposal for payroll deductions for employees for prepaid legal services was discussed.
