The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board discussed the Chamber's Stars and Stripes funding request. Several matters from NCPDD relating to the Home Grant project were taken up. The jail budget was discussed with Ed Hargett. An unsightly lot on Cornelious Avenue was discussed. The July 4th holiday schedule was approved. The Board approved a contract with Verizon for service to the Board's new tablets.
