Leflore County Board of Supervisors

The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board paid several Home Grant invoices. A plaque of appreciation was presented to Paige Browning upon her retirement. Ordinance Officer Otis Abron conducted hearings on several pieces of dilapidated property, and the Board voted to clean the properties. The sale of 1.1 acres to a retail chain was discussed. The Board voted to purchase a scanner and software to digitize chancery court clerk records. The Leflore County Health Center's monthly invoice was paid. The Board went into Executive Session to discuss the fitness of an unnamed county employee.
