The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board heard a request to fund the Stars and Stripes celebration. Various leases for parks and agricultural leases were approved. The County Engineer brought forward a motion to request bids for the Itta Bena Pumping Station project.
