The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board heard a presentation regarding renewal of the county's insurance coverage. MVSU President Dr. Bynum appeared to discuss rental of the Incubator building. Jimmy Jackson, GLH administrator, received permission for the hospital to purchase a property nearby. Otis Abron conducted "show cause" hearings on some dilapidated properties.
