The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board held its required public hearing on the budget and tax levy. The Board adopted the 2015-2016 fiscal year budget and tax levy. Dr. Rausa appeared to request the Board renew the lease for Golden Age Nursing Home. Dr. Percy Washington presented information on the Heritage Progress.
