Leflore County Board of Supervisors

The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board adopted a resolution recognizing outgoing district one Supervisor Phil Wolfe's 24 years of service on the Board. Hospital CEO Jim Jackson requested that the Board approve the purchase of several houses adjacent to the hospital for future development of an urgent care clinic, but the Board tabled the matter. The Board had to appropriate $2500 to cover the shortfall in the cost of running the business incubator.
