The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board approved contracting with the Leflore County Health Center to provide health care nurse practitioner services for prisoners and juvenile detainees. Terry Westmoreland presented the Board with information regarding life insurance policies for county employees. Sylvester Hoover requested a county contribution to support the Robert Johnson Blues Festival.
