Leflore County Board of Supervisors

The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board received the quarterly report from prison consultant Ed Hargett. The Board refused Jeff Harden's request to award a homestead exemption for a house owned by an LLC corporation after receiving an Attorney General's opinion that such would be contrary to the law. Appointments were made to the Minter City Water and Sewer Board.
