The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board heard a request for a $5000 donation for a scholarship luncheon. Troy Brown and others presented a plan to erect a monument at the court house honoring those who fought against slavery. A discussion of the budget for the upcoming year took place.
