Greenwood City Council

The Greenwood City Council is the legislative body that governs the city of Greenwood. The executive power is held by a Mayor who is elected by the people every four years, along with the seven council members. The City Council generally meets twice each month at the City Hall.

The Council approved various financial gifts to a list of organizations. Speed bumps were authorized to be placed in Ward 2. Matters pertaining to a CDBG Economic Development grant with Milwaukee Tool were taken up. The Council sold a parcel of land to the Odd Fellows Cemetery.
