The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

A hearing was held about a proposal to close two streets, Booker and Grant Avenues. The board appointed Reggie Moore, son of Robert Moore, to fill the remaining term of his father as District 2 supervisor.
