The Greenwood Leflore Hospital Board of Trustees met with the Greenwood City Council and Leflore County Board of Supervisors.
The City Council claimed control over the meeting, and promptly went into executive session.
The public and media were excluded from the entire substantive portion of the meeting for 107 minutes. The meeting adjourned without re-opening to the public as required by law.
The meeting was apparently held for the purpose of discussing the Stroudwater Report, which was commissioned by the city and county to provide legally required input into the possibility of selling or leasing the hospital.
The results of the report have so far been kept secret from the public.
A request by The Taxpayers Channel to the Hospital for a copy of the report has so far received no reply.
