Leflore County Board of Supervisors

The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board discussed the MDCC budget. Ed Hargett presented the quarterly jail update.

Hari Pillai requested that the Board change the name of the street he lives on from "Lee Street" to "The Medgar Evers Way."

A discussion took place regarding the road department assuming the mosquito spraying operation.

A disputed bill for HVAC filter services with BFC Solutions for $5204.14 was taken up. The Board voted to table the matter to permit the county attorney to research the disputed invoices.
