The school board of the Consolidated Public School system held its public budget hearing as required by state law.
Only one citizen appeared to offer comments at the actual meeting. The Board instructed audience members that they were not permitted to ask any questions at all, but only make comments.
The School Board had publicized a "live stream" of the budget hearing and requested that the public attend by viewing the live stream.
However, the live stream had no intelligible audio through the entire 47 minutes of the hearing.
