Leflore County Board of Supervisors

The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board approved the final budget and set the time for the required public hearing. A renewal of the county's property insurance was approved. The Board approved the NCPDD submitting an application for a waste tire grant in the amount of $50,000. The Solid Waste Department requested authority to donate a front loader to the city of Greenwood. Ulysses Kelly gave an update on the county website. The Board discussed the coronavirus. The Board discussed quotes for repairing the old number 3 fire station. The Board went into executive session to discuss employee personnel matters.
