The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board discussed a four event proposal that the county would sponsor by Operation Peace Treaty. A discussion took place regarding a rare trial by jury in justice court. The Board went forward with quotes for the repair of the airport fire truck. The Board went into executive session to discuss various employees. The Board approved awarding a contract for county audits for 2018-2020. The Board approved the hiring of Ulysses Kelly as the IT coordinator for the Juvenile Detention Center. The camera system at the center was also discussed. The Board approved releasing the final payment to Med-Stat.
