Leflore County Board of Supervisors

The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board held its public hearing on the budget and property tax rates. Valour Cobbins requested the Board help pay for installation of a commercial kitchen in her restaurant. Lee Hall requested the county purchase advertising on his television channel. The Board approved enrollment in the Beaver Control Program. Quotes were accepted for the purchase of a new 2021 Caterpillar dozer. A lease renewal was approved for the Browning Community Park. Dean Insurance rented space in the Incubator Building. Some milling work and right-of-ways were requested by the county engineer. A discussion of the removal of dead trees along County Club Drive took place.
