Leflore County Board of Supervisors

The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board discussed the beaver control project. NCPDD's John Wiggers discussed the need to hire archaeologists to conduct a Cultural Resource Survey for the Sunflower Road Improvement Project. Several salary increases were approved. The bad roof at Florewood Plantation was discussed. Some funds were released for Morgan City and Sidon cleanup days. Discussion of opening the road behind The Landing was held.
