Leflore County Board of Supervisors

The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board heard a presentation from its Bond Attorney. The Board approved the candidates for the Special election to fill two vacancies in Election Commission Districts 4 and 5. Ordinance and resolution to authorize collection of property taxes for the city of Greenwood were approved. Sheriff Ricky Banks' requests to adjust salaries for members of his department were approved. Final FY 2020-2021 budget adjustments were approved. A zoning variance was brought before the Board.
