The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

Yearly bids were opened by the Board. The Ordinance Officer gave a report for public hearing and show cause. An update was provided by the outside auditors regarding FY 2018. The Sheriff brought forward employment requests for guards and for salary adjustments. Emergency quotes for Florewood and a rezoning request were presented by the County Engineer.
