Greenwood City Council

The Greenwood City Council is the legislative body that governs the city of Greenwood. The executive power is held by a Mayor who is elected by the people every four years, along with the seven council members. The City Council generally meets twice each month at the City Hall.

The council heard a report from the outside auditor. A hearing on dilapidated properties was held. The council voted to enter into a contract with Adela Agency for the collection of delinquent fines. A lease for a wireless tower was approved. A resolution honoring Deputy Police Chief Hammond was approved.
