Leflore County Board of Supervisors

The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Tax Collector brought before the board her proposal to hire two new deputy clerks.

Beth Stevens requested a donation of $5000 for "Keep Mississippi Beautiful."

John Ray of "Just in Time Music" returned to seek approval of a contract with the county regarding use of Florewood Park as a music venue.

The Board heard an update on Senate Bill 2719, which allows an increase in the salaries of the supervisors.

Another discussion of the county's mask mandate in county buildings took place.
