The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board approved an agreed order with MDEQ regarding violations at the land fill. Allan Hammons appeared before the Board to discuss advertisement of county resources. Hayes Dent Public Strategies made a presentation to the Board. Marylin Sims came before the Board to discuss the Incubator. A resolution honoring Otis Abron was approved. Yalender Everett filed an appeal of her termination as the unit secretary. The Road Manager led a discussion of trees on 2633 Kay White Circle. The Board went into executive session to discuss potential litigation, but no action was taken.
