Leflore County Board of Supervisors

The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

Chancery Clerk Johnny Gary brought forward minutes from June for board approval.

An ARPA fund balances report was provided to the supervisors.

Tax Collector Annie Conley brought for approval the insolvent and delinquent personal property tax report.

County Court Judge James Littleton provided additional orders raising salaries and hiring two new employees for the Juvenile Detention Center.

Reggie Ross of the NCPDD brought several items for board approval.

The county engineer brought forward a bid for elevator modernization in the courthouse.

The board went into executive session to discuss "potential litigation" but no specific matter was specified, and no action was taken.
