Chancery Clerk Johnny Gary presented July minutes for approval.

The joint hospital board appointment discussion was tabled.

County Court Judge James Littleton brought forward orders to hire five more people to work at the Juvenile Detention Center. He stated that the Center is not yet in compliance with the consent decree with the Department of Justice. A new roof is needed, mold must be removed from the building, and water leaks have to be fixed. He reported that the DoJ inspection team recently told him that the building is in worse condition than ever before.

The board went into executive session to discuss security at the jail and personnel, but no action was taken.
