Leflore County Board of Supervisors

The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The board was presented with minutes for approval for July through January.

Interim County Administrator Leroy Ware presented several matters regarding county business.

NCPDD representative John Wiggers presented two items relating to road rehabilitation projects.

Economic Development director Thomas Gregory presented a resolution for matching funds for a grant proposal.

Earl Byrd presented Upchurch Services property upgrade proposal to save energy costs and upgrade/update HVAC and other equipment in county buildings.

Two quotes for repairing the roof at the Juvenile Detention Facility were discussed.
