Leflore County Board of Supervisors

The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

Interim County Administrator Leroy Ware presented information on the county inventory.

County Court Judge James Littleton requested the hiring of three full time officers for the Juvenile Detention Facility.

A resolution to commit APRA funds to construct the Amac Park Pavilion in Schlater was discussed.

Purchasing Clerk Tanya Gomillia requested that the board accept Upchurch Services as the company to provide energy saving program services for the county.

The Sheriff requested a budget adjustment in his department's budget.

The county engineer presented several right of way matters for approval.

The Road Manager discussed with the board the necessary removal of many dead trees from Florewood State Park.
